My name is Ido Frank. I was born on August 10, 1982, and art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. For me, the canvas is not just a surface for painting, but an intimate space where I express emotions, thoughts, and small moments from life.
I began my artistic journey as a student of the late artist Menachem Mizrahi, from whom I learned the foundations of oil painting and the power of art as a touch to the soul. Over the years, I developed a personal style that combines classical techniques with vivid, contemporary colors – a balance between realism and abstract touches that invite the viewer into an emotional experience.
My inspiration comes from life itself – the landscapes of Israel, the changing daylight, human encounters, and simple moments that ask to be eternalized on canvas.
Throughout the years, I have participated in several exhibitions:
2014 – Group exhibition at Beit HaAm, Metula
2017 – Group exhibition in Modi’in
2022 – Solo exhibition at Machanayim Gallery, a meaningful milestone in my artistic journey
My paintings are characterized by bold colors and delicate touches of light, creating a sense of depth and warmth. They often weave together Israeli landscapes, portraits, and intimate scenes that move between poetic realism and free emotional expression.

For me, painting is an inner journey – a bridge between what I feel and what the viewer discovers within themselves. I invite you to step into my paintings, let the colors tell their story, and perhaps find a part of your own story within them.
